Many studies have suggested that laughter is good for our health.  Simply put, laughter reduces stress and since stress negatively affect our immune system, then laughter could at least help our immune system.
In the opening of Paul McGhee's article entitled Use Your Amuse System to Boost Your Immune System he quoted Voltaire: "The art of medicine consists of keeping the patient amused while nature heals the disease."
I prefer to watch comedy than sad movies, for no better reason than to relax myself.  I watched a HBO movie "A Bucket List" today. Beside having a good laugh, I found the movie resonates with the philosophy of living our Second Half Life the way we want, with the difference that the two main characters in the movie had six months left to live.

One 1991 comedy movie that touched me visibly is "The Doctor". An arrogant surgeon who operated on patients like changing automobile parts, found himself diagnosed with throat cancer and he received a taste of his own medicine. Well, see the rest of this movie and tell me what you think about it.
