Second Half Life Description
This site is dedicated to people over 50 years of age who have crossed the threshold of life. There is a need to pause for retrospection, explore what is to come, and consciously engage in active aging.

How can we journey through the second half of our life better? By sharing experiences, we stand a better chance of living the remaining life span meaningfully.

I sincerely hope that you will find this site and the blog useful.

The subject matters in this site is intentionally broad because Sehalifs interests are diverse.

"Sehalif" is a word coined by me (taking the first few alphabets of "Second Half Life") to represent those of us living the second half life.

Before going further, please read the Terms and Conditions for this website. In proceeding, it is deemed that you have accepted the them.

May the Sehalif thrive!

PRESS RELEASE

1. Hello, I am happy to see some readers signing up as member. Thank you. Please help me make this site better by telling me what you want to see more here.

2. Read about the youth-enhancing age-defying technology in the post "Major Breakthrough in Wellness". This could enhance your second half life.

3. Timothy Ferries in his book "The 4-Hour Body" proposed a concept called The Minimum Effect Dose (MED) which is defined simply as the smallest dose that will produce a desired outcome. He used an analogy of boiling water. To boil water, MED is 100 degrees C at standard air pressure. Once you have reached the boiling state, higher temperature will not make it "more boiled" and all you are doing is to waste energy. More is not better. This goes with exercise too. In his book, he explains how this MED concept could be used to help you loose weight with the least effort and yet achieving the best outcome. Sounds good? Click on Book Review read the review.
